WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR THE DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS.
Typically obedience training takes 4 weeks. Dogs that are slower to advance may require additional time. The training fee is $150.00 per week This includes boarding, feeding of a premium dog food, and training. A 2 week deposit is required when the dog is dropped off. We take dogs from 6 months to 3 years old.
It is required that you pay any balance due at the time you pick up your dog, unless other arrangements have been made. If you wish to take your dog home temporarily for weekends, holidays, vacations, etc. please call ahead to let us know of your plans.

 Program
In our program we will teach the basics- sit, stay, come and walking on leash. More advance training of off leash walking, down and off will also be presented but may require additional time.

We suggest that for the first month you leave the dog with us so the dog may become familiar with the trainer and the new routine. During the next weeks we would like you to come weekly so we may work with you and your dog together. This will help teach you the commands in obedience and how to properly handle your dog. The training sessions should be scheduled a few days ahead of time.

Providing your dog with excellent care
We will provide your dog with excellent care and supervision. Occasionally, however, there may be an injury or illness over which we have no control. In such cases we shall not be held responsible for those incidents.

| Retriever Training |
Waterfowl and upland hunting training.
Gray Oak specializes in gun dog, AKC hunt test and AKC field trial retrievers. We start dogs at 6 months old. We offer month to month training, a 3 month gun dog program or a specialized hunt test or field trial training program to match the owners needs and desires.
We start with the needed obedience, move on to proper delivery, steadiness and control. More advanced training like multiple marks, blinds, honoring, etc are added as the dog progresses. We are active in competing dogs thru out our region and the United States. We will handle your dog in hunt tests or field trials or will coach you to do so.
We include a premium food, heart worm, frontline and lots of birds into our monthly fee of $600.00 per dog. The first months fee is due at time of dog being dropped off. We have fantastic grounds here at our kennel and some of the best grounds in the U.S. here locally. We strongly encourage owner participation so that you and your dog become a great team.

We will assume the right to obtain veterinary services as deemed necessary for your dog while in our care. We will advise you beforehand, if possible, as to a medical problem. If there is an emergency situation we will act accordingly. Any veterinary expense incurred will be billed to you.
